Event Updates!
Country Girl Horse Craze Dayz of Eventing Updates!
Location: 39065 Avenida Bonita, in the city of Murrieta, in the state of California with the zip code being 92562.
Dates: July 31st, August 1st
Event Catergories: Barrel Racing, Pole Bending, Jumping, Relay Races, Water Cup Contests, Egg Contests, Obstacle Courses, followed by a trail ride!
Update: We are STILL looking for 3 more Rodeo Queens! You must be able to carry the flag while mounted. The queens will perform while the anthem is being played. Send pictures of you and your horse to CountryGirlHorseRescues@yahoo.com if you are interested in being one of our event queens! I will be custom making the queen vests and chaps. Other then that dress code: Tank Top, Jeans, Any color CowGirl Hat.
Event Prices: 15$ per event. Except for the Water Cup Races, and the Egg Races. (If you enter atleast one other event)
100% of the proceeds will go towards the event expenses and what is left over will go towards the rescue funds. We will have vendors with all different kinds of neat things to buy. Spectators will be charged nothing to watch.
Rules: NO Stallions, No animals aside from equines. All participants or anyone working with or around the horses will be required to wear a helmet at all times. All participants will be required to sign both the Arena Owner's release of liability contract AND our rescue release of liability contract.
All enteries must be in by June 15th 2009. In order for us to know how many prizes (ribbons to order)
EVERYONE who enters will receive a ribbon and a prize no matter what you place.
Event Catergories will NOT be seperated by age, but by experience. SO even if this is your FIRST event come on out and have some good family orientated fun! Join our horse community, make more horsie friends! Above all enter for a good cause to help raise funds for the Country Girl Horse Rescues!
Please note: You are NOT required to pay anything until the day of the event when you check in to receive your
number(s). You just need to let us know which events you plan to enter and you experience level. We will have 3 classes: No Experience, Some Experience, Very Experienced.
If you have a horse that you want to rehome. Enter atleast one event, and we will announce your horses stats, asking price, and forward everyone to the person trying to rehome. It will be like an adoption day for horses! We will also have our rescues available for adoption at this event.
Please let us know ASAP which events you plan to enter.
Check in time for the queens is 8a.m. to rehearse. Check in time for contestants is 9:30a.m. Events will begin at 10:30a.m. sharp. Vendors are required to show up and set up by 8a.m.
If you are interested in being a vendor we are charging $50 for the space. Vendors are required to bring their own set up materials (I.E. Tables, Racks, ECT)
